What this site does not do

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies, uses no tracking services, embeds no third-party maps or videos and loads no fonts from external servers.

Server log files

When you open the site, the hosting provider’s web server stores technically necessary data (for example IP address, date and time, page requested). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security and operation of the site).

Language choice

When you switch language, your browser remembers the choice locally (local storage) so the home page opens in your language next time. This information does not leave your device.

Getting in touch

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed.

External links

Links to Airbnb, Booking.com, traumpfade.info or OpenStreetMap open in a new tab. The privacy policies of those providers apply there.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.
